This photo reminds me of the terrible scene on the Bay Bridge after the Earthquake. It is nice to see the recovery in this uplifting shot.

About a week after the earthquake, I wanted to go to an amusement park acrossthe Bay with my Mom and some friends. WE had to take a ferry because the bridge was down. As we passed by the bridge, we could see the extent of the damage. It was eerie, to say the least. I try not think about it, as I now have to cross that bridge every day.

I put my camera on a tripod and set it on manual mode so that I could adjust f-stop and speed. I also used a remote release cable cord so that I wouldn't shake the camera.
I took the photo from Treasure Island, right undre the bridge. this is where many of the tourist post card pictures are usually taken. Thanks fo rhte fav.

What a beautiful shot...great lighting and contrast! It has a very soft feel which is very appealing.
