No, I am NOT on a Spongebob kick. :) :iconspongebobplz: I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium the other day and went crazy photographing undersea life.
Thse are purple jellyfish.

Another nice jellyfish photo. =P I like the purple spotted areas. They make me think of an alien species that could probably survive just as well in outer space. But I have a weird imagination so don't mind me. :lol:

When I saw this, I kept thinking, "It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, and yet it isn't." I also had a hard time trying not to think about the jellyfish salad that shows up on menus occasionally.

Oh gross! Jellyfish salad? I think that I may have eaten jellyfish as a child because my father tricked me into trying it. If I had known what it really was... :O_o: I'm so easily turned off of food now if a) it was once alive, or b) looks really strange. :lol:
